BAC water is sterile, pyrogen-free water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth. It is mainly used to reconstitute lyophilized peptides and hormones for research or clinical use, supports multi-dose use and extends the storage period of the solution (about 28 days after opening). It is for dilution and reconstitution only and not for direct intravenous injection.
